Training

It is our intention here at Posillico to initiate and maintain complete incident prevention and safety training programs.

All Posillico employees and subcontractors are responsible for their health and safety, as well as the health and safety of their fellow co-workers.
All employees are expected to integrate and apply their training to the appropriate work activity they will performing and or supervising.
Required training for all employees is as follows:
  1. New hire and annual safety refresher orientations:
    Safety Orientation provides a unique opportunity to make a positive statement about our company's value in our employees. It also provides our new employees with the skills and knowledge that they need to be successful in safe production.
  2. OSHA 10 Hour Construction:
    OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training is designed specifically for construction workers and supervisors responsible for construction activities. This course covers topics such as fall protection, excavation protection, and ladder safety.
  3. OSHA 30 Hour Construction for Supervisors and Managers:
    OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training is a comprehensive thirty hour course that covers a wide variety of topics, including confined space entry, scaffold protection, electrical safety, and materials handling.
  4. OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER and 8 Hour annual refresher:
    In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 regulations, the 40 hour HAZWOPER training is required for individuals who work in an area that is defined as a HAZWOPER Work Site. Upon successful completion of the course, employees receive a certificate of completion accepted by regulatory agencies. As a requirement of completing the 40 Hour training, all employees must receive 8 hours of refresher training annually.
